Forward Air Controller's

The majority of FAC's in SEA were attached to field combat units for the purpose of coordinating close air support.  As such, FAC detachments moved frequently with their Army units and so no attempt has been made to identify physical locations.

To go to the Home Page for a TASS Squadron, use the navigation button or click on the appropriate squadron patch.

Though we do have a good bit of information and pictures on the TASS's, several excellent sources are available on other websites.  Check out the Links page for directions to some of those sites.   There's also an excellent Yahoo group called FACNET with several hundred former FAC's and ground crew or ground radio operator's as members.  The traffic level on FACNET is high and the information is invaluable.  Great group!
