Activated on August 10, 1965, Penthouse was originally located on located on Tay Nihn Mountain and was later moved to a Special Forces camp adjacent to the village of Trai Trang Sup, approximately six (6) miles northwest of the city of Tay Ninh. Penthouse was deactivated on May 15, 1968 due to improved radar coverage from Paris and Pyramid Control. Official History
